Power Broom (#12100)
To complete a successful installation, the last step is to top-coat the whole artificial turf surface with a sand infill. The drop spreader is used for a quick and even spreading of the infill on top of the surface but once the sand infill is spread on top of the turf; the grass blades need to be groomed and brushed for the sand infill to sink and slide in between the grass fibers and into the turf. This is best accomplished with the power broom. The power broom is gas powered and it rotates very aggressively; doing all the hard work so that you don't have to. This power broom will erect the flat turf fibers and allow the sand infill to stuff in between each grass blade creating support and ballast for the project.
Within time, all of the traffic or just gravity itself will force the grass blades to fall to the side; on some cases more than others. This may affect the overall appearance of the project and might even make the turf look matted and or shinny. When this happens, have no fear the power broom is here. This tool is used not only for new installs but also to maintain older turf installs. The aggressive rotating brush helps erect the turf blades again all while brushing away all of the leaves and unwanted residue leaving the turf looking like it was just installed yesterday.
