PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ARTIFICIAL GRASS

Designed to prevent any movement, shifting, wrinkles or ripples during artificial grass installation. The turf must then be securely fastened to the ground, often done by stapling the turf into a pre-installed nail border and then by installing pins all throughout the middle of the turf installation. The more pins used, the better! The best pins for this installation step are either 5" turf spikes or 6" U staples. Aside from securing artificial grass into place, these U staples are also the best and most economical option for securing the weed barrier beneath the turf as well.

WEED BARRIER

When installing weed barrier, it is important that it doesn't shift around to avoid leaving some areas uncovered, leaving it vulnerable for weeds or grass to grow through.
The weed barrier is usually held down by installing U staples around the perimeter and throughout the middle of the project area. The more U staples, the better!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do you install these? Using a hammer you pin them though the turf or weed barrier and into the ground
  • How do I hide the head? Stop hammering them down about 1" away from the ground, stop and remove all hair from under it and then continue hammering it down to the ground. This will stop you from pinching the grass underneath and the staple head will hide in this own.
