Everything you need to install artificial grass (Part 3)

At this point, you already know there are different types of artificial grass, sand, tools for maintenance, and much more. 

In part 1 of this series we teach you the mandatory requirements that must be met before installing synthetic grass , and in part 2, we shared the products and tools you need for the final assembly of the artificial grass. In this last part, we will show you what is needed to finish the project like a professional.

 

1- Infills and accessories

Silica sand is the last product needed to complete a successful and correct artificial grass installation. The sand is a protective and stable upper layer for the fibers of the grass.

There are several types of sand for different usage of the lawn. And there is even one that can lower the temperature if it is placed in a very hot area.

At the end of the installation, the artificial grass surface must be covered with sand.
